Personal

I am married with a lovely daughter, son-in-law and two sons, and recently a grandson, making my wife and I a very proud Ngogo and Ukulu. My family motto "Bono Vince Malum"  means "Overcome Evil with Good", and usefully summarises what I would strive to do, although recognising that I will and do fail to achieve this in my own strength, and it is only with the help of the only person  who has ever achieved this that I can ever hope to do so myself.  He was able to do it because he was fully human and fully divine.  For more information, I recommend CS Lewis's Trilogy (Out of the Silent Planet, Voyage to Venus, That Hideous Strength), if you like the allegorical approach, or for a more direct explanation, look at Romans 8.  You may gather I am a committed Christian.  I am a regular member of Christ Church Woking.

I am also a keen photographer, starting my hobby with a Kodak Box Brownie (!), then a Chinon SLR, a Pentax Optio 330, Pentax Optio 750z and currently using a Canon Sureshot SX200. You can look at some of my photos in the Photo albums on this website and here.
